Simulation management awareness

One day course designed to give managers an appreciation of the benefits of simulation and its applicability (or not!) to a variety of differing applications. The course will identify the requirements of a successful project and equip the manager with the understanding to ask the write questions to validate the integrity of the project. The course also gives an appreciation of how the completed models can be taken forward to successfully communicate best practice and the justification of change to other members of the company.

• How does simulation differ from other analysis techniques?
• What benefits can we expect to achieve?
• What are the 'hidden' costs?

Modeling Requirements

• The importance of data and how to be successful without data
• Who should be involved in a simulation project?
• How much effort is it going to take?

Results Analysis

• What is the simulation really telling you?
• What are the pitfalls to be aware of!
• What questions should you ask to be confident of the project accuracy?

Power of Graphics for Communication

Are graphics just pretty pictures?

How can we use the simulation to communicate best practice?

Meals and Attire
