WITNESS 2003 part 2

The theme for the new release is 'working with you' to that end Lanner have included items in this release requested from their customer base across a variety of industries. This release is available to all customers who have maintained Witness licences.

Improvements to the modeling functionality include;

• Flexible new attach concept for applying labour and other resources
• New Containers functionality - retaining part identities
• New Dynamic Variables concept
• New flexibility in path allocation for labor
• New Watch functionality to track values of functions, variables and attributes
• Addition of System functions to the modeling tree display
• Used reports available on system functions for easy location of logic
• Extended vehicle demand list displays

In addition there are a number of ease of use features including;

• New Grouping concept for easy element group access
• Flexible improved grid display options
• New toolbar control for layer adjustment, fonts & colors and alignment control
• Multi-tab designer element palette introduced
• Customised report tables and charts
• New Group displays for multi-quantity activities – great for process diagram
