AnyLogic overview

AnyLogic simulation software is a unique simulation tool harnessing the power of Java to enable users to create portable web-enabled models which will run on any Java-enabled platform and can even be placed on a website as applets. This unique capability allows remote clients to run fully functional interactive simulation models directly in their web browsers without installing any kind of runtime software. This is the ultimate way to maximise uptake of models that add value to your business.

AnyLogic can be applied to a wide range of problems due to its multi-paradigm approach.  AnyLogic has the capability to create solutions using Discrete Event, System Dynamics, Agent Based and Dynamic Systems modelling approaches.  Moreover, different approaches can be combined to address applications that would be difficult to formulate into tradition ‘single approach’ tools.

AnyLogic is a very flexible and powerful simulation modelling tool.  Functionality includes: predefined object libraries, user defined active object classes, interfaces and hierarchy, block and flow diagrams, timers, ports and message passing, variables and algebraic-differential equations.  All aspects of a model have the ability to insert expressions, statements or Java functions to provide ultimate modelling flexibility.

AnyLogic simulation software is open architecture and can be used in conjunction with any Microsoft Office or corporate software.  Models can dynamically read and write data to spreadsheets, databases, ERP or CRM systems.  External programs can be called from models; conversely an AnyLogic model can be called from external program using the open API of AnyLogic simulation engine.

AnyLogic seamlessly integrates with Stat::Fit distribution fitting software for analysing your historical data and deriving the statistical distributions.  The world leading OptQuest optimizer also seamlessly integrates with AnyLogic to find the values of model parameters that maximise or minimise the model’s objective function.

Customers include; Boeing, Boston Scientific, General Electric, General Motors, IBM, Mitsubishi, Siemens and Sony.

Anylogic is developed by XJ Technologies in Saint Petersburg and supported in the UK by Saker Solutions.  Please feel free to contact us for more information on AnyLogic simulation software solutions and their applicability to you either by calling Saker Solutions at 01789 762255 or info@sakersolutions.com
