  Profile: Shane Kite

Shane originates from Redditch, Worcestershire and is married with a daughter. Shane has been involved in the Simulation industry for 20 years. With a background in Manufacturing Engineering at Ford, Shane developed early applications of graphical simulation in the automotive industry, using the Fortran based 'See Why'. Since then, Shane has had a successful career in simulation, most recently being President of Lanner Inc and a board member and founder shareholder of Lanner Group, the developers of the Witness Simulation product.

Shane is a member of the Informs College on Simulation and the Society of Computer Simulation.

Mike originates from Dewsbury, Yorkshire, and is married with two children. Mike has been involved in the simulation industry for over eighteen years, and has experience working at all levels in the industry, being involved in the original development of the Witness simulation system, and with countless simulation projects behind him, Mike has a detailed understanding of simulation and its application. Most recently, Mike was responsible for technologies at The Lanner Group and before that worked for AT&T, Istel and British Steel.

Mike has been Chairman of the AUTOSIM conference, a major simulation event in the Automotive industry, 2001 & 2003 and has written numerous papers on the application of simulation.
